Comic Superman
How can I subscribe to a Superman Comic book series?
I'm wanting to start reading Superman Comic Books. I don't know much about them so which should I get into and how do I subscribe to get each one?
The home page of DC Comics

has a "subscribe" link at the bottom, which leads to

Superman is a group of titles, each of which has a self-contained storyline, but which also crosses over with other titles in the group. DC places "chapter numbers" on the front of each cover to help readers follow the story from title to title. Currently, the titles are:
Action Comics
Superman
Adventure Comics
Supergirl
"War of the Supermen" is the current storyline, which is just starting.
If you can, visit a Comic Book store, or a newsstand. Try a few issues before subscribing.
There are many Trade Paperback collections available, reprinting stories from different decades. Your library may have some. The best value is the Silver Age (1950s-1960s) "Showcase" collections, which reprint about 25 issues in black-and-white for less than $20, and which do not involve a lot of character history, or collect enough issues to give you a complete multi-issue story.
